Symptoms such as headache, shortness of breath, constipation, chest warmth or palpitations, nausea, and dizziness have also been reported, and these can often be alleviated by adjusting the drip rate.
Serious side effects are rare, but temporary fluctuations in liver function (elevations in serum bilirubin or liver enzymes) have been reported.
While NAD+ IV drips are considered relatively safe and well-tolerated, their safety has not been established for pregnant or breastfeeding women, or for children; therefore, these individuals should avoid their use.
