Risks & Side Effects

There is almost no downtime.
At the blood draw site, internal bleeding (bruising), swelling, or mild pain may occur. These symptoms usually peak within 3-5 days and then naturally subside over about 1-3 weeks.
After blood draw, applying pressure for hemostasis for more than 5 minutes is recommended and is effective in preventing internal bleeding.
