Pre-Treatment & Day-of Instructions
Please refrain from eating oily foods as they may affect blood and cell collection.
The following individuals cannot receive treatment:
- Under 18 years of age
- Pregnant or breastfeeding
- Severe autoimmune diseases, immunodeficiency, or severe infections (such as HIV)
- Malignant tumors (cancer) or suspected, currently under treatment
- Severe clinical symptoms or abnormal test values
- Coagulation disorders (conditions where blood does not clot easily), anemia, fever, poor physical condition
- Taking aspirin, anticoagulants, or antiplatelet drugs (treatment is not possible while taking these)
- Cases where continuing treatment is difficult due to mental illness or psychiatric symptoms
- Cases judged to have a risk of symptom exacerbation due to immune stimulation
- Patients with severe immune abnormalities, although some types of leukemia may be treatable
- Other cases deemed inappropriate by the physician's judgment
Risks & Side Effects
Side effects vary widely, including mainly skin rashes and itching, colitis and diarrhea, pneumonia, thyroid dysfunction, and neurological disorders. These are caused by an excessive immune response attacking normal cells. Side effects can appear not only during treatment but also several months after treatment, so early detection and prompt response are important.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel after cell collection, you will be responsible for the cell culture costs.
